Litigation Support and Expert Testimony

Our Litigation Support and Expert Testimony division provides expert witness services for a wide variety of matters related to real estate, finance, economics and accounting. We are knowledgeable in all areas pertaining to real estate, though the majority of our cases focus on financing, transactions, and valuations as well as bankruptcy and mortgage related issues. Representing both plaintiffs as well as defendants, we assist trial lawyers in the preparation and management of real estate and mortgage related cases.

Economic and Financial Consulting

Our Economic and Financial Consulting division provides research and analysis relating to a broad spectrum of real estate related issues.  We conduct economic impact studies, land use studies, and market research analyses for a wide variety of clients, both private and public.  Grayslake Advisors is retained by the Los Angeles Business Council to produce the centerpiece report for the annual Los Angeles Mayoral Housing, Jobs and Transportation Summit, and to provide strategic guidance to Los Angeles County officials in drafting the 2035 General Plan.  We also serve as advisors to Los Angeles Streetcar, Inc., and led the development of the project’s local financing plan, approved by voters in December 2012.

Forensic Accounting

Our Forensic Accounting divison offers a wide array of services including accounting, auditing, computer forensics, regulatory compliance, valuation, tax, and securities litigation. We provide a comprehensive menu of services, including internal investigations, fraud investigations, and white-collar crime analysis.  Our experts conduct forensic analysis of complex transactions to help organizations investigate and resolve business, legal and regulatory issues.   We employ the latest technology that allows us to retrieve, catalogue, and analyze critical data from various computer systems.
